Canonisation of Blessed Damien in Rome
31 October - 2 November 2008
The fourth annual retreat of the sscc lay associates took place on 31 October - 2 November 2008 at Buckden Towers. The weekend was a great success led by Fr Chris McAneny sscc.
Due to the canonisation of Blessed Damien on 11 October 2009 arrangements for a 2009 retreat are under consideration.
17 January 2009
The National Day in Daventry on 17 January was led by Fr Derek Laverty sscc with support from Di Wilson and Mike Curtis. It was a challenging but very fruitful day in which we considered a number of questions about the association and we relate to each other and those around us.

The next National Day of the lay association will take place in Acton on 25 April 2009
